KongsiKL presents Klang River Festival (KRF), an annual open festival that aims to bring local communities and stakeholders together to share knowledge and foster meaningful discourse on heritage, culture and identity.
Recognising the transient and ever-changing nature of the locales along the Klang River and its tributaries, the festival highlights the river's importance as a vital source of transportation, fresh water, food, agriculture and religious rituals. Through various events held in various iconic heritage buildings across Downtown Kuala Lumpur, KRF invites the public to reminisce, revisit and rekindle a shared sense of belonging and nostalgia for the Klang River
